DaveK
Hmm - I've been thinking of picking up a bike again, and I didn't realise you could get Fireblades for that kind of price. Why did it need new forks?
Pete
Rip it apart and make a MegaBlade..
Guest steve982
Just so everyone knows, this is My ex wifes bike, I am selling it for her and sales note will say so. The forks were rplaced for the MOT as the originals were badly pitted and had caused the seals to go. It was cheaper to replace them than repair them. It has never been dropped or damaged to my knowledge. She bought this bike and used it once, didn't like the riding position. It has 16000 miles on it and is alarmed and immobilised. It was fully serviced and has done approx. 100 miles since then.

AndyT
Well cheap. Had 98 myself and to be honest it was a nicer all round experience than my 03. Someone will get a bargain. and my mates has been well round the clock, run on a shoestring and still starts first time.

DaveK
A friendly bump. I went to see this, and was very impressed. Impressed enough that I made an offer. Unfortunately - since I hadn't actually been looking for a bike, my offer was almost insultingly low - particularly since I think it's an absolute bargain at the current price anyway. Unsurprisingly, it wasn't accepted. Seeing it has made me realise I do want another bike - but since I've had a Blade before, I've decided I want something else and hence wouldn't up my offer. However - if you are after a Blade, I'd recommend going to see this. I checked Autotrader and MCN before viewing this and I couldn't find any bikes of the same age and mileage for that price. If I'd been actively looking for a Blade I would definitely have upped my offer (in fact, although I would still have made insulting offers, I would have paid full price and still thought I had a bargain). Jake
Is it an RRX? Mines a '98 RRW and I'm pretty sure they didn't do the RRW in Red/Wh/Blk Which would make it a 99 model I think. So even more of a bargain. I wouldn't dream of selling mine for as little Steve is asking - especially seeing as it cost me around nine grand new!
