michael
I've upgraded so have my old TV available, I realise most of you will already have 70" super plasma LCD mega panels but perhaps this little 28" CRT is suitable for the kids, games room etc? I've had it around 4 years, good picture, great sound and in good condition - just a couple of very small scratches on the top of the TV (see picture on link below) and the external speaker cloth has taken a bit of abuse when the cats knocked them onto the floor. In 100% working order, was doing the trick nicely for me up until Tuesday of this week and now sat in the corner taking up space. No stand, I had one, I seem to have misplaced it, if it turns up I'll sort you out but for the moment presume there isn't one (if I find it then it's still flat-packed, could be in storage). Pictures, instruction book and basic spec here: http://www.megaboost.co.uk/tv/ http://www.megaboost.co.uk/tv/P1080580.JPG I can deliver it in the local area but would prefer collection. £100 ono - may consider swaps for interesting items

michael
Is this a fair asking price for the TV would you say?
MrHanky
Is this a fair asking price for the TV would you say? I don't think it's a terrible price but with the cost of LCD's nowadays and the fact that people want LCD instead of CRT I think you will struggle. I too will be looking to sell my CRT when I eventually upgrade. Despite the fact that it is a 36" Toshiba 60hz TV that cost £1500 5 years ago, I know that I will have problems getting £100 for it
Whitesupraboy2
I dont think the price is too bad. Your after someone who's TV has broke and just doesnt have the money for LCD. You can pick up 32" LCD's now for under £300. So at end of the day still a big difference betwee nthat and £

I based the price of mine on the cost of a "weird brand" supermarket special 28" widescreen, these still seem to be £180+ so thought £100 for a known brand would be OK. I should have said £99 though, sounds a lot cheaper

RedM
I'm tempted by this. It'd be ideal for a dedicated gaming screen. I just can't think where I'd put it.
michael
I'd like to do the same but don't really have the room I'd rather get rid of the 14" portable and use this instead but would have to sleep on the TV.

michael
I have absolutely no packaging at present but I'm fairly sure I could construct something, quite what I don't know but I would imagine the shipping costs would be quite silly on a ~50kg TV.
