dannyspeed
Just fiited the walbro Pump but the hose that comes out the top is on the wrong side. This make the pump lean over a bit in its bracket (see pic). Will this make any difference to the way it works? Ive fitted it in the car and its all working fine. It must be a manufacturing fault. It is the right pump as i checked the code on the side, But i bought it from the states if this makes any difference. I cant see the us spec supras having different fuel pumps. dannyspeed
been there, done that... THIS might explain Im glad im not the only one. The pump sat tight in the bracket so i think it will be ok, there was no movement at all. Just a slight lean to it. I see that you replaced the hose right to the top which makes it fit better. Terminator
I have fitted both types of pump to JDM brackets. No one will ever see it so it does not make the slightest bit of difference if the pump is at a slight angle. What really matters is that is held tight and the electrical connections are robust.
