garetheves
Supposedly police have had a tip off to an area 9 miles away from where she was taken from. Was on sky from what i heard.
DaveK
I thought it was funny that her parents have "returned to the Algarve to grieve". Right - so they won't actually return home to grieve then?
Matt H
its a shame but she been gone for so long now, dont think there any chance of her coming back alive. Previous abductions show that if they dont turn up soon after they dont turn up at all

michael
So... Portuguese police suggested to Mrs McCann that traces of Madeleine's blood were found in a car the family hired 25 days after the girl went missing, the friend added. Kate is back at police stationIt is thought Kate is being asked more questions linked to the DNA tests on samples taken from the car. During questioning yesterday, detectives suggested that traces of Madeleine's blood were discovered in the vehicle. Mrs McCann told them there was "no way" Madeleine's blood could have been found inside the car and she continues to protest her innocence, the friend said. Did the killer hire the car before they did? Has the blood evidence fallen off something else that might have come into contact with Maddie when she was alive? Did the parents kill her? michael
The source for the above is http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,70131-1283158,00.html?f=rss - the BBC don't seem to be reporting this bit at present.

Daston
And yet the parents are still aloud to look after their kids! If this happend in the UK they would have been taken away.
kieren1234
And yet the parents are still aloud to look after their kids! If this happend in the UK they would have been taken away. Would they though, social services are terrible in the Uk from alot of the stories i have read on the news. Extremely wierd that her blood is found in the car they hired 25 days AFTER she went missing. I suspect the parents.

michael
You seem awfully interested in this Michael. Where did you go for your hols this year? Are you trying to suggest that I killed her? Bit of a low blow isn't it? For the record I haven't been away this year your honour. It's news, I like to discuss things that are in the news, haven't you noticed?
Supragal
Not looking good for them right now. Innocent until proven guilty and all that, but now I'm thinking parents could have done it, removed body/child, went to restaurant, then rang police giving them alibi. Hire different car to move body as police were getting too close maybe. Or maybe the blood is the mums and DNA isn't fully back on it yet? Who knows. The whole thing has stunk from day 1. Thing is, no body = no time of death. So it might not even have been that night she went missing/died etc.

Robbo
I hate to say this as innocent until proven guilty but I have had my suspicions from day one about her parents being involved in all of this.
hoff
If it was the perents, I think it could've been an accident which they have tried to cover up. If it was them, accident or not, how can they take donations and travel the world knowing the truth. Talk about cheek. Just wish it would come to a conclusion now though. Its a terriable thing whatever happened to her:(
Rob
Well, I was right about Sion Jenkins from day 1, and that road rage woman. Does anyone know where Joanne Lees was on the night in question?
