heartworm
Just finished a 1400KM trip and checked my MPG for the whole thing, 31 MPG if my calculatoins are correct. Used 126 litres and went 1401.2KM was a fantastic result i thought

heartworm
How do you know so exactly how many litres you used? suprafan72
why bother checking on these cars..?????
Havard
I thought the best way to do this is start with a full tank and then fill it up again at the end of your trip........ I did this and my NA came out at 28 Mpg which included a couple of stupid runs on the motorway and a stint down a track for two miles, never getting out of first as it was so narrow!! H. Bobbeh
I'll let you know how I get on this weekend in France, I remember getting nearly 450 miles to a tank coming back from Germany, and that was cruising over 100 a lot of the way back. Jake
Yeah but the lardarse UK specs have that big fuel tank Heartworm is claiming like 435miles from 63Lts, rather than the UKs 80 litre tank.
Bobbeh
True.. but like I said, that was kinda hot footing it back through Germany so as not to miss the Ferry I'm gonna have a nice leisurely cruise to Le mans this time.. so like I said, I'll let you know
Jake
Blimey. That is good. I was getting 7mpg between stops at one point through Belgium. It would've actually been quicker to drive at 70mph and not have to keep stopping for gas (which is just as much a rip-off there as here). Bobbeh
Sounds like 'ring MPG that I think I worked out 80 litres went in around 130-140 miles.... and remember thats on my stock car, not modded. 550 injectors of course.
Homer
Mapping the car worked out around 6mpg, but must admit it's no different from BPU around town and cruising... if anything it better at around 18mpg. On boost - forget it!
Jake
That's why I happy to get rid of the PHR1. Those things are on boost all the time. 180miles/tank was putting a big whole in my JobSeekers allowance.
Bobbeh
You single boys shouldnt worry about MPG, I mean they spend more time in the garage than on the road
heartworm
why bother checking on these cars..????? curiosity really, just fancied knowing, and it seemed pretty good too I was expecting it to be double what it was. was really hapy with the getting from London to Strathaven without having to stop

RIJ8631
curiosity really, just fancied knowing, and it seemed pretty good too I was expecting it to be double what it was. was really hapy with the getting from London to Strathaven without having to stop That doesnt seem so bad. When I picked up my car at Milton Keynes and on my way back to Strathaven, I had to refill at Gretna. Passed you last Saturday at Glassford Bridge, you were past by the time I saw you cheers Ian
