robert_gray
Im looking for a new pc and i think i have found the one im going to go for but the only thing it hassnt got that i wanted was a bit more ram. Im not 100% on what speed it will be when i buy it as it just states FAST which could be either pc2-5400 or pc2-6400. i was wondering if i bought i pair of pc2-8500 would they be dragged down by the slower or would they work at seperate speeds? Jake
Would work at the slower speed. Or rather would all work at the speed the MoBo tells it to. If that speed is lower than (or equal to) the speed the RAM is rated for then no problem.
DamanC
Robert, tell us the model of the motherboard and perhaps one of us can recomend a suitable upgrade.
Sparky
It'll clock down! You can do it with DDR memory as well!
