Jake
If anyone wants it I've got an EmTac Bluetooth GPS receiver here with a dead battery. It works fine with the ciggylighter power cable attached but the battery inside it doesn't take a charge anymore. It may just need the rechargeable battery replacing, I haven't looked. Anyway, if anyone wants it it's yours for 50p. Would consider a swap for good condition NA (Sorry, no aerotops)

Hermit
Thanks, Jake! Got it set up working with WayFinder on my phone - WF isn't great, but the GPS is working nicely
Jake
You're welcome mate. What phone have you got? I'm running TomTom on mine (Nokia n95 - Symbian S60 v.3). Works great. I can do you a copy if you like.
Hermit
At the moment, a nokia 6230i - I had a look at the tomtom site today and it's not supported I've had it for nearly two years now, so maybe I should upgrade, but I quite like it. WayFinder's passable, it uses TeleAtlas maps same as TomTom, so I'm guessing TomTom would share some of the problems with bad data like 'no right turn' not being allowed for. On a quick test in Oxford's notorious city centre, it was telling me to do a u-turn for half a mile and then proudly said 'destination reached'!
