RedM
That's right I just drove 250 miles and didn't see a single car worth putting my foot down for. You name it, I didn't see it! The closest I got was a line of eight 911s parked outside a country restaurant/hotel. On the plus side I drove over the N Yorkshire moors on the A169. Sweet road. Did a Google Maps check for distance (Pickering to Whitby) and got this! Pixelfill
That would have done wonders for your figure though Martin Did you manage it in under 29 days then ? Mike
RedM
Did you manage it in under 29 days then ? Mike Of course. I'm TT not NA! Honestly, the more I think about it the more unreal it seems. Nothing but family saloons, old shitters, people movers and trucks. Not even a Max Powered Saxo, Focus ST or the like to play with.
dangerous brain
I think you'll find the problem may lie within your own speed lol. I never come across anything to play with but when I sit and wonder why, it occurs to me that its going to be difficult to find a car traveling fast when you are already driving at the speed limit :tongueincheek . You then have to rely on passing someone that suddenly decides they are going to play or someone that wants to play coming on at a junction at the same time as you drive past. I don't bother in built up areas as thats dangerous IMO
hogmaw
You're just unlucky. This w/e in just 200 miles: 1 - bit of a play with a white supra 2 - spotted a brown supra driven by a blonde bird (she blanked me) 3 - hit 150 leps while beating an M3 - also driven by a blonde 4 - had a bit of a to-do with a skyline gtr (that thing was fast) 5 - was followed by a bmw up to 120 leps - then his engine blew up and he crawled to the hard shoulder :d 6 - spotted black supra near where I live or maybe I was just lucky
SBDJ
I drove not far off 1000 miles Wednesday to Saturday (Newquay and back, Aylesbury and back a couple of times and Aldershot and back a couple of times) and didn't have any fun with anything either. Trip to Newquay was quite amusing though, best mate in my car, his brother and another mate following. Kept getting phone calls asking me to slow down and to say that when I booted it he couldn't hear his own car over mine - and he thought his was loud So much for the HKS Silent exhaust

That would explain the noise as it kinda by-passes the exhaust with a fair percentage of the airflow, You don't really hear it inside the car either. From what I've been told mine sounds like a jet engine as it screams past on full WOT

Did Bournemouth and back over the weekend. Not as far but the only thing on the road was a new F430. Unfortunately he was coming towards me on my side. Mike
I went to Middlesbrough and back last weekend and got nothing too (and that's from Portsmouth so the length of the country nearly)... The best I got was one of those Vauxhall VX-elise type things.. which wasn't that quick to be honest....? I was gaining on him in my N/A.. michael
I went from Leeds to Sudbury in Suffolk (or Essex?) and back again on Sunday evening / night - spotted 1 Supra, 1 NSX and 1 Pulsar, everything is was generic ecobox type stuff. I was in the Octavia though so things were a little different, you get all the Mondeo, Vectra, Astra, BMW etc drivers wanting to play then
