looking at getting this for my Na supra is this the right kit?? or is the crank pull the same on all supra's?

 

Unorthodox Racing Lightened Crank Pulley for 1993-98 Supra

Part # UR 02121070x MK4

Unorthodox Racing lightened underdrive crank pulleys on average can provide gains of 5 to 12 HP and 4 to 8 lbs.-ft. on normally aspirated engines and 8 to 16 HP and 8 to 18 lbs.-ft. on forced induction engines.

 

Power gains are obtained in two ways. First, and most important, is the weight loss. An average of 2.7 HP is gained from every pound lost off the crank shaft. 85% of our gains are from weight loss.

 

The rest of the gains are from underdriving, which accounts for about 15% of the total gains. U.R. does not push underdriving for two main reasons. The main reason is to keep charging systems, air conditioning, power steering, and water pumps moving fast enough for every day driving. Second, not much horsepower is gained from extreme underdriving. In most applications all of the underdriving is done with the crank pulley, not the accessory pulleys. This is done so maximum weight loss can be achieved at the crank where most of the horsepower gains are found.

Boost Logic Crank Pulley for 1993-98 Supra - Aluminum

Part # BL Crank Pulley MK4

The stock harmonic dampener cracks because the stock hub is made out of aluminum. Boost Logic fixed this problem by making the hub out of steel. This CNC'd unit, unlike the stock one, will NEVER crack. The outer pulley is made of lightweight aluminum. What's even better is that it is SFI approved, fully dampened, and is lighter than stock. The stock unit weighs in at 7.25lbs while this unit weighs 5.75lbs; a 20.68% reduction of rotating mass. The best part is that it also uses the STOCK belt while other SFI approved dampeners require a different belt.

I have personally used both on a TT Supra and I can say that the BL is deffinantly worth the extra bit of change. Much better in quality and how its made.

 

In my opinion for the best is BL but for a budget, UR is just fine to go with.
