supraspeed Posted June 9, 2007 Author Share Posted June 9, 2007 the only thing i can say that is a bit annoying is the turbo kicks in at about 4000rpm and the rev limiter shuts off at 7 i think so in 1st gear u have about a split second to change up once the turbo kicks in- oh and its not de-catted ..yet. so by removing the cats will it componsate for the high fuel level intake on the ecu running rich? With a car of that power level you have to learn not to have a digital right foot You can't use 100% throttle in first (and sometimes 2nd), you just need to learn how to feather the throttle to keep traction to optimum. Strange that you say it's still got both cats though, especially if it's got an NA-T conversion (The turbo doesn't allow you to use the 1st cat). I suspect you are missing the 1st cat, but still have the 2nd in place. Not an ideal situation but may have been put on to get it through emissions testing.
