Scarface GTti
Does anyone know if there is an off the shelf braided brake line kit for the Supra? If so, who makes it?, who stocks it and how much?

Ian C
How's that then, says me, with my nice Goodrich braided brake hoses... The ends are stainless as well as the braiding so surely anything like this is much of a muchness? -Ian
Gordon F
I have no problem with the quality of the Goodridge lines, but found them an absolute bastard to fit to the bundy pipes on the car. Also, they have no chassis mounting bracket. Now that they are on, I'm well happy with them
Ian C
I used the stock brackets? Unless we are thinking of different bits. Here, I thought you didn't mod your car -Ian
Gordon F
The stock lines have a mounting bracket on the chassis about 2/3rds up the line. I just cable tied the Goodridge ones there. MONKEYmark
dudes just fitted my goodridge lines i bought 2 years ago. they look quality items with plastic protector over the braided lines. can you tell the difference in peddle feel. he fitted my line lock and motul brake fluid too he is a good lad
dude
IMO the goodrich lines are shite !!!!!and i have them on my car !!!the worst point is that the brake PIPE fittings only screw into the LINE union just over 2 turns , also its rare for the ends to be in the correct 'sequence' so that the lines follow a nice line to the caliper , lastly the front lines have no mounting bracket on them so tend to rub on things they really shouldnt , if you saw the lines i reccomend and the Goodrich side by side the diff is obvious , just remeber guys 'quality is remembered long after cost is forgotten' !!!
