my cats been hit by a car :(

Woke up this morning to find blood everywhere in the kitchen and no sign of the cat. Normally he would jump up onto me for a quick cuddle before breakfast and wave me off to work.

From the amount of blood around I fear the worst as I cant imagine anything as small as a cat surviving from losing so much blood. Two big puddles on the floor and paw prints everywhere.

Cat was found outside the front door just after lunch in a bad way and taken to the vets by my Dad.

Its front paw was torn off and the vet said it looked like a car had hit him.

Fingers crossed he will pull through.

If he does he’ll need to learn to deal with only three remaining legs.

Not a great start to the weekend.

Stupid cat.

It makes me angry that I got so attached to him and now I feel sick of the thought he might die.

Vets bill not looking good too.

£500 / 1000 was what my dad was quoted.

That's a big dent in the NA-T budget.

My sister's cat; 'Tripod' is missing a front leg and she copes fine. She can still jump up onto the worktop and everything. Looks a bit odd when she's running though.

Good luck Edd, hopefully he'll pull through.
