hadyn
As some of you may know, I recently painted the brake calipers on my Supe blue with good ol Hammerite. I decided to add the finishing touch with some nice Supra decals, so I bought some off this guy on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...94345&rd=1&rd=1 Heres the pics, Im really pleased with the results as I think they really posh up my old j-spec brakes!! Quality of these decals seems to be very good, they apply easily and seem very well cut. The test will be when I've put a few miles on the brakes and the heat that they generate.... JonW
I painted mine using the silver hammerite. Very pleased with the results. I would say though that I also painted the rear hubs and that improved things even further.

turbonut
Yeah, im thinking of painting my rear hubs black or silver... Hi Ady I got some rust remover from halfrauds and spent several hours (needs several layers of the stuff built up) de-rusting the hubs You can put hammerite straight on to rust but taking off the worst of it leaves a smoother surface to prime and the paint keys onto the primer well - I used black engine bay paint, more subtle than silver but its down to taste. word of warning on the rust remover: its gloopy green and a bummer to get off the alloys if it drys on so if you cant ramp it and take off all the wheels (2 hours of repeated 1/2 hourly dosing means you'd be whipping wheels on and off til you were dizzy) wrap cling film around the spokes and a layer of plastic on the bottom of the rim to catch drips.....or stuff it and just slap on the hammerite depends how picky you are Linda xx
