I will do what I can to get a good plot but cant guarantee it at this point. The number of support vehicles will also be limited so its going to be a suck it and see type of day. Programme of the Day- (times may be amended as required) 9am Gates open to public/club show cars 9.45 Driver Briefing- pitlane- all competitors must attend. 10am Noise test- all cars (unless tested on Sat 29th) 10.30am Open qualifying for all events. 1pm Pro-Drag 8second Shootout- Main drag strip– Keith Cowie vs. Tim Webster First ever head-to-head between the 8s 1/4m cars of Keith Cowie’s RB Motorsport R32 Skyline vs. Tim Webster’s Duke R33 Skyline. 3.15pm Handling Circuit-End of Qualifying (Circuit stays open for untimed practise laps until 3.45pm.) 3.30pm Drag and Top speed- End of Qualifying. 3.35-4pm Demo Displays Drag bike/car demo runs/untimed practise. 3.45pm approx. Leadings cars announced on P.A system. Qualifying cars will be called up for Handling / Drag Shootouts. Any cars not ready to run at 4pm will be eliminated. 4pm Handling Shootout – Top 4 Handling Cars overall run off in reverse order, one lap each to determine the Redline TOTB 6 Handling Shootout Champion. 4.10pm Drag strip- Pro-drag shootout Top 4 cars from qualifying from the Pro-drag class battle it out to a final conclusion- Pro Drag Champion 4.20pm approx 1/4m Drag Shootout Eliminators Road cars First across the line wins Fwd Road Class Shootout- Top 4 cars from qualifying go Head-to-Head Rwd Road Class Shootout-Top 4 Cars from qualifying go Head-to-Head 4wd Road Class Shootout- Top 4 Cars from qualifying go Head-to-Head 2wd Drag Final-Rwd Winner vs. Fwd Winner - road cars 4.30pm approx Redline TOTB 6 1/4m Drag Shootout Final- Road cars 2wd vs. 4wd- First across the line. To determine the Redline TOTB 6 1/4m Drag Shootout Champion- Road car 4.40pm Results Collation 4.50pm Redline TOTB 6 Overall Champion Announced (Highest points total from all 3 events plus any points gained from the shootout finals.) 5pm Trophy Presentation and Photographs Class Winners- Handling, Top speed, 1/4m drag. Redline Shootout Champions- Drag and Handling. Sponsors Trophies and other Awards. Redline TOTB 6 Team Award. Overall Redline TOTB 6 Champion Trophy Award Event Closes. Additional Info for Competitors only Weather- the event will not be cancelled and we will still run! Pro drag cars will not be allowed to run on slicks if the surface is damp/wet. Drivers- please note- reminder check list Documents- road cars-Helmet/race suit if applicable (read regs!)/tickets and pass for car. Please read your regs for event times and other information. Don't bring bald/illegal tyres! Leave your car parked up tidily and unlocked for the Scrutineers to check it between 8am-10am. You must be parked up, signed on and scrutineered before 9.45am, then attend the driver briefing at the startline area. Immediately afterward all competitor cars must queue in pitlane for noise testing. Signing on is in the large green portakabin located straight thro the pitlane and to the left by the toilets/fence. Driver briefing is held at the startline area, if you miss it you may not be allowed to race. Race Stickers- at signing on you will be given a set of stickers for your car. One is to be clearly displayed on the REAR of your car. If it's unreadable you may not be timed correctly so ensure it's centrally mounted on a flat clear space where it can be easily read from behind. If mounted on a sloping rear screen it may not be easily readable!!! Door and bonnet stickers are also given and must be fitted to all cars. End of qualifying- untimed runs At the end of qualifying untimed runs will be allowed until approx 10mins before the shootout finals. If you have not qualified please park up at this time to allow cars through pitlane. Shootout Finals start at 4pm prompt; this year if we call up qualified competitors and they do not attend in time then a bye will be given to the other competitor. Handling shootout is top 4 cars overall and the road class drag finals are top 4 in class. Trophy presentations Will take place around 5pm in the Redline Marquee. We would ask all teams and competitors to stay on if possible and attend the presentations to congratulate all the winners and the team champions. A list of trophies and awards is included for team reps.
