cheekymonkey
Hi Guys Having a blast out here - was so jet lagged the first day, didn't get anything done, but the second day was amazing thanks to a few guys from gtr.co.uk: http://s178.photobucket.com/albums/w279/cheekysupra/Fuji%20Skylines/ Check the video out, quality is a bit bad but you get the idea. Some amazing scenery yesterday while we were out driving. The car I was filimg from is an AE86 ("hachi-roku") which is an old corolla thing - 1.6litre non-turbo engine, but you'd never ever believe it. Fully race built and kept up with the skylines all day (and outperformed them round the bends!) James
Gaz Walker
Hi James, Sounds like your having a brilliant time. The guys from GTR are brilliant aren't they. Miguel's '86 is amazing. I watch him outrun the Police from Daikoku-futo once, great fun Gaz.

Only got the one ride in that one, as everyone was in line for it! A great day though. Tomorrow - Drifting at Mobara Circuit! :D:D

cheekymonkey
Today, I have mainly been travelling sideways! One of the '86's tyres is now completely stripped of tread even though it was new this morning, and I am sore all over. Bucket seats aren't designed with 6'4 big built guys in mind! No doubt I'll have some pics and videos up later. Problem is I am dying to drive the Supra now! Strangely enough I would have seen more Supras around Swindon today than I have in my 4 days in Tokyo - they really aren't common at all over here, I think they are all being exported... Gaz Walker
Yep - they are very very rare in Japan. You can see 100 Skylines to a Supra in Japan... Gaz.
