when braking my brake pedal pulses under my foot and the car judders to a stop. when braking from higher speeds the front of the car feels like its jumping almost. i feel absolutely no vibration through the steering wheel just the pedal. does this sound like disc warpage? any help appreciated

cheers ...lee

I get a similar thing when the brakes get VERY hot (ie lots of smoke - reminds me I've got to talk to the Brembo bloke) where as I'm braking the front of the car will shake.

However as the brakes cool, it returns to normal. I kinda put it down to knock off, but may be wrong.

Chris W should be able to confirm.

Cheers

Tony

Warped or cracked disc(s) by the sound of it. Badly warped or cracked....

a little update on this. ive just taken both discs off and looked at individually and no visible signs of cracking.so obviously the discs are warped slightly.. using a vernier caliper the discs are pretty much as new so what i want to know is the tolerances for skimming the disks

cheers ..lee
