JamieP
Been out in a few cars now, 996 turbo was pretty nice but not as fast as i thought it be, want to try a GT3/GT2 next, Garllardo was to small for me and over my budget really. Noble M400 was cracking car, goes like stink and look the bollox:cool: only thing was its a tad small for me but i could live with it just. Driving these other cars made me realise how fast/good the supra is, i dunno what to do.

Jake
I'm sure CZJ would rather be taken out in a Porsche than a Noble or Supra.

Muffleman
I really did think you might start to wonder just if it's worth selling your Supra now it's almost perfect - can't see any of the cars you've driven being much better in terms of speed, acceleration, grin factor etc. Keep the supra, put the new 4088 on, knock out the retard in the 2-step and just enjoy the Supra Summer is almost upon us, have the Supra for the summer and if in a month or two you're still fed up with it then sell it. In the meantime, test drive the hell out of everything you can think of I'm undecided with regard to selling too, but gonna go drive a sagaris soon as we have a TVR specialist moving in not far away
Pete
Nobles are larey balls out monsters. It'll suit you.

michael
Ultima? At the end of the day are you selling the Supra because you don't like it or because it keeps breaking?

JamieP
Ultima? At the end of the day are you selling the Supra because you don't like it or because it keeps breaking? I dunno really, thought i was bored of it but not so sure now, if the right offer comes along it will go otherwise i think ill just tone it down a bit (de spoiler and spray the bonnet) then take it a bit more easy on it and give up the burnouts. mikeyb10supra
personally I think your crazy getting rid of the supra Jamie, after all the hard work put into it, obviously if its for personal reasons then fair play! You just need something to relight your enthusiasm for the car again, I get like this with mine all the time but always think, if I got rid of it and saw it driving about I would feel gutted I sold it....some little touches can relight your interest, maybe arrange some track days and enjoy the car for what it is....for the money your going to get for selling it, your going to have to pay double again for anything near as fast

Just go with 3.4 stroke project, but do it standard way, not fast and costly one
wkdtime
If you want something that's just as quick as your Supra, which looks just as good and gives you that 'wow' grin factor then you're going to have a really hard time finding something that fit's the bill under 100k....think really hard about it bud. Jezz
I would sell the Supra, and start again with another Supra. But this time build it exactly how you want it, and would be happy with it. Thats my plan when i'm done with my current one. I love playing with the shopping basket on MVP's website. To build a Supra from the ground up exactly to the spec i want, my shopping basket came to $45000. Which isnt bad when you think about it. But howabout get yourself a cheaper, track\road toy that is quick enough for sh*ts and giggles, happy to do burnouts and spend it's life sideways etc Don't spend LOADS on it, just use and abuse it. If it breaks, fix it when you want but you still have the Supra for the road. I dunno, I'm talking crap as usual, just aided by bottles of Corona in the sun today
