Havard
I am putting my new leather seats in today and I have hit a problem. I have taken out the passenger side first, undone the 5 bolts and then tried to pull the seat out. It seem that there is a wire that is connected to the passenger seat. It runs under the seat and enters near the seat belt coupling. As the passenger side isn't electric I expected not to find anything wired into it??? The seats are from a pre-facelift and my car is a facelift. Should there be any problems?? H.

Big Ads
I was waiting for this thread follow the wire, it should have a connection on it, will be stiff but should come apart.
JustGav
Not for the passenger air bag as such, but it is linked into the system, it is the seat belt tensioner firing system.
Havard
Does this mean that the passenger airbag won't work then?? H.
RobSheffield
Paul, disconnect from your seats, and you will (should) find a plug under Lukes seats too. Mine are Prefacelift seats and have that plug in them.

I just thought I'd take the passenger side out first as it would be easier!! Well this thread hasn't done my post count any harm anyway..... H.
