Paul372 Posted June 2, 2007 Share Posted June 2, 2007 i ve fitted a new fanbelt today and now when the car is running somewhere coolant is leaking onto the belt and is flicking it everywhere. where can i look and what would this be, i ve already had a new rad fitted, top rad hose, aircon pump and two fanbelts the first fanbelt i think was a sh*t one and shreaded its self now i ve got a proper toyota one ans its running ok apart from am getting coolant everywhere its leaking onto the belt samewhere Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JustGav Posted June 2, 2007 Share Posted June 2, 2007 Is the top pipe connected to the rad properly.. Check the pipes you took off are tight. Also check for any nicks in the pipes. Paul372 Posted June 2, 2007 Author Share Posted June 2, 2007 i ve tighten the top rad hose and that looks ok i ve also dry very thing off to see where it is coming from but cant find it, i thought it must but coming from the top somewhere for it to get onto the fanbelt or will it spray up from the bottom onto the belt if its leaking, do you think it is def a hose Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
