Walk away mate. Sorry but all paperwork must be present. There are 40 - 50k dodgy number plates around and dodgy logbooks that were stolen. Check DVLA site for the numbers of the dodgy logbooks.

Sorry bud, but not want to see you buy a pup.

On the up side there's some lovely examples in the for sale section or speak to Jurgen on this forum, he imports and stocks great examples and will never sell you short.

Good hunting. :)

Why doesnt he have the log book? The reg? Import doc? MOT's? Vin num?

You can get a loog book from the dvla but everything else needs to be 100% 1st.

Think we are barking up the wrong tree AndyT. Alan Blue's was a white TT with ludicrous seats.....;)

Yeah just got it through me thick skull. :( Thought luck like that didn't exist. Oh well. Keep looking for him, poor bloke.

Well, whatever age it actually is - the price would appear to be what I paid for a 97 manual facelift NA (which had 20k miles less on it) - and my seller did have the log book (and loads of other paperwork). Doesn't really look like a bargain to me.

After looking at those pics the car looks mint and has had a lot of money spent on it!!

Shame that it is about £1500 over priced....... You will not recoup money spent on mods unless you find someone who really appreciates them. The problem is that when you come to sell it you will struggle to get 5K.

I would walk away mate. You could get a decent TT for that money too!!

So if i offered the guy 4600 do you think that would be reasonable it has got a nice custome boot build but the brakes shake as you break heavily and who knows whats up with the engine not having alot of history one panel front near side is slightly curved in from bodykit.....how long will these engines go for and how much do they cost if they go wrong? ill prob have to spend 1k gettin in right ie bigger brakes engine etc....:search:

Why would you want to buy a car that obviously has stuff wrong with it?

Iknow what your sayin but the car did drive sweet did all the checks on the "What to look for when buyin a supra" and all seemd good the only think i picked up on is the shake in the stearing wheel when braking har though it still brakes in a - line and a few bodywork issues..:)
