JODY T
Mark Before you do this, get a long thin screw driver.. The fluid bottle has a filter inside, this gets dirty over time and then you drain the fluid it gets an airlock, that is a right PITA to get out.... IF you pierce a few holes into the filter this will alow the air to be released... Let the car tick over for 5mins, dont move the Steering wheel.... turn the car off and top up the bottle.. Do the same again untill the noise goes.... Be patient and it 'should' quieten down... Saving you having to buy a new pump and having to do the same again
dini_the_owl
The best way i found was to jetwash inside for about 10 mins till it was super clean making sure to go up from the bottom aswell, also leave it a few days in a warm place to get all the water out,as i didnt want to damage the filter in any way. AlanM
And after you clan it out and re-fill, leave the top off, and move the wheel from full lock to full lock several times with engine running, toppping up if necessary, and then replace the cap
