evanshaw
Am thinking of getting one of those carbon fibre look dashboard conversion kits from ebay. Seen a few pics of others from here and they look ok. One problem, my dash is currently walnut, eeek! I hear you say, but it came with the car. Think it was an option on the GZ's?? Anyway, what do I have to do, should I attempt to peel this off or stick the carbon fibre straight over the top?

AndyT
Clean it off bud and remove any residual sticky gunk with a solvent of some kind. On the down side I've seen the ebay stuff get a right caning from some folks. Maybe get something a bit more classy from a trader?
tooquicktostop
if you heat the walnut trim with a hairdryer it comes off easier;) I have the CF trim, I brought mine from e bay, it is not a perfect fit and as mine came from US it has a couple of pieces for LHD, the seller never responded to my e mails so be careful

pistonbroke
I think nic does the water transfer process for proper carbon fiber effect dash, so no joins or anything, it looks like real carbon fibre.!! PM him for a quote. Its by far the best dash effect you can get.
