Where to fit guages?

Boost and EGT is easy - I'm going to get an A-piller pod for them.

But, I also want oil pressure and oil temp (although I'm open to suggestions for other things that it's advisable to keep an eye on), and I'm baffled as to where to mount them that looks good.

I don't want to remove the passenger airbag, so that's out. I want to keep air vents, so they're out, and I still have (with no intention of changing) the stock stereo, so that's out of the question.

I was thinking of slightly ripping off Justin's design and mounting them next to the interior lights (only I'd be having analogue guages instead of the electronic Apexi ones), but there's nothing to buy to fit them there, and I don't have the craftmanship to make something that would look good enough.

Basically - where else can I put them? I want to keep the clock too (fussy ain't I :D ), although the guages I'd get will probably be quite small (42mm is it?).

Ideas anyone?

The glovebox is classed as usuable storage? Since when? ;)

I don't like that idea much either - looks untidy. Gawd I'm a fussy sod. Hmm, I've just had an idea - I could put them on the steering column. They should be small enough not to block the dials. I'll have to measure things up...
