Jurgen-Jm-Imports
i used to own an auto n/a and that seem heavy on petrol, was a bit like the 6 speed tt i had, a say bout 22mpg driving like whitesupraboy and 25mpg driving like a granny. unless there was a problem with my car, it was stock and ran on optimax

Right, here goes, it's not that hard sans calculator (mind you, that's setting myself up if I f*ck it up): £20 of fuel at 80p a litre. So that's 20/0.8, which is 25 litres. 25 litres lasts for 135 miles, so one litre lasts for 135/25 miles That's 5.4 miles per litre. I think it's about 4.5 litres to the gallon, so 5.4 x 4.5 gives the figure in mpg. I make 5.4 x 4.5 = 24.3mpg
Tannhauser
Curses - I just checked and it's actually 4.546 litres to the gallon, and I can't do that in my head, but Mr. Calculator says its 24.5 mpg Cliff

Faye
I get a wonderful 18-22 to the gallon. Although on a very boring journey at a constant 60mph I got 31 to the gallon.
Guest Rays the roof
Did a very detailed study on my NA and figures were as follows: 60 mph - 30.1mpg (normal unleaded), 31.8 (BP Ultimate) 70 mph - 24.1 mph (NU), 27.2 (BP U) PM me if you want any further info at OTHER speeds. As above with AC on - minus 5 mpg. Roof off (presumably due to drag) - minus 2 mpg. AIT resistor fitted - minus 2mpg. All based on 216 mile round trip to Blackburn on M6 (not always a clear run!!) to see my daughters, which I do every fortnight So it's roof and AC off using Tesco's 'finest' and cruise at 70 ish or Roof and AC on using BP U and well........ Suprash
I would agree with Jurgen, the NA's seem very juicy for their power comparisson to the TT's. What I have noticed is that the NA pretty much seems to drink the same amount of fuel all the time, whether your booting it or not, the TT probably drinks the same while on boost, but keep her off, and my TT can easily out drive the NA in the MPG war...... 250horses
22 mpg in town 24 mpg if you drive hard out of town 26 mpg average on runs Interestly I noticed that if I stay below 70 mph I get nearly 30 mpg
dangerous brain
I have never seen any more than 22-24 MPG and it never really varies no matter where I take it ie down the motorway or in town it sits around and about that figure. That said I don't ever recall sitting on a motorway at
250horses
It is difficult But I managed the M11 at 65mph and got 30 mpg. nearly crashed the car though.....boring...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......
