BASHTHEBISHOP
Well it is that horrible time of year again where i had to sort out my insurance. I had a small accident 2 months back and have been dreading the worst. The liability still hasnt been decided but almost definitley will go against me:rolleyes: I rang Sky initially & spoke to Darren who was very helpful & although the premium quoted was a £300 ish rise on last year it wasnt as bad as i thought. Darren also assured me that i wouldnt beat there quote and if so to go back to him and let him know..... Well i tried damn hard(at least 20 companies) including all the recommended ones from here etc & not one company could get within £300 of their quote:blink: Adrian Flux as good as accused me of lieing over Sky's quote lol & said they pride themselves on beating sky as a direct competitor for the same market lol Just to let people know that also the 'Agreed Value' has more than doubled (£72) and is not available for new customers any longer. Anyway... well done Sky.... i will try harder to beat your quote next year:p
tooquicktostop
The quote they gave me last week was very poor and as you say the agreed value does not apply to new customers and they wanted a tracker fitted and a £450 excess and I am 35 with 10 years no claims, fail to see how we as a club has benifits with this company:( ok rant over

I would definitely ring them back if you havent sorted your insurance and try speaking to Darren or Jae. Obviously if you have a big single & live in a dodgy area then it might not be so good either.
