Matti85
Just removed the tinted cover film that a previous owner put on my car, but the glueing thingie is left and looks terrible, how do i get it removed ? Have tryed heat it with hairdryer and then used a brush but no luck, only way it went of a litle was using a rubber on it, but that will take me forever to do. Any good way to do it ? edge
If you mean the sticky residue is left then WD40 is good or any label remover. Just take care where you spray it as some label removers damage the paint and plastics.
Jake
I tried loads of things without much luck. The only thing that really got it off was aerosol brake cleaner. Even then it was a right pain doing the rear screen.

Guest jk_supra
use a stanley blade on the edge to peel the corner up then it pretty much comes of in one sheet 5 minute job .......... then it take 4 hours to get the glue off
ivan
Heating it up first should make it easier. Borrow the missus' hairdryer.
