Guest Phillw454 Posted May 27, 2007 Share Posted May 27, 2007 They make a noise when you change gear:) I think they release the pressure left in the pipes (thats the noise) and so the pressure cannot be forced back through the turbo thus making it spin the wrong way and not do it any good at all.
