Toytown
hi again all, My new toy has had plates fitted by the dealer & the rear looks bloody awful Common problem I think, but I can't find a solution without making something myself, the plate is narrower than the cutout in the bumper & leaves 2 gaping slits to the sides any ideas please peeps ??? BTW -- I assume a slightly smaller front plate is illegal, don't like the front one much either thanks lads & lassies
Jeff R
If you go to http://www.fancyplates.com you can get large back plates and small fronts I got mine from them and i know a lot of others on this site have used them with good reports. Toytown
Well, i couldn't wait for a new plate to arrive, so decided to have a go myself today .. 4mm clear perspex, backed with white vinyl, plate fixed on & then some little bits of vinyl trim. Not perfect but better than the awful holes & jigsawed to fit number plate (had to plane that to get a straight(ish) edge http://www.signworkshops.co.uk/rearplate.jpg

Manic
As Jeff said you can order plates to the exact millimetre from http://www.fancyplates.com , most people have a similar prob and by ordering a specific size prob solved.
