AndyT
I love watching the Monaco race is all about pits, tyre choices, fuel loads and just hoping to God you don't clip the tight barriers. No room for overtaking. Still I'm really enjoying it. It's funny how you don't appreciate how hilly it all is on screen. Brings back loads of memories from the trip a couple of years ago and of course this thread - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35304&highlight=tropez Lucky man, hope to go at some time too. ivan
I got the distinct impression that they brought Hamilton in a couple of laps early for his 2nd stop. That's why he wasn't too happy about the result - Big Ron decided the result for him. But then, that's what bosses are there for when the team result is more important. neil tt
It do look a bit contrived, big shot in the arm for Alonso, a great result for Mclaren. I still think Lewis will have his day and win the champonship:d
michael
I recorded the race so I could miss the adverts, SKY+ seems to have recorded a documentary called "Lewis is the only person driving in Monaco" though so I've missed it.
DaveK
It's the first race I've watched this year - and even then it didn't have my full attention. I did think the interview was amusing though when they questioned Hamilton and he said "Oh yeah, I hit the barrier several times but it's a very strong car". He has an interesting driving style. Yep - he blatantly had more fuel than that but Ron didn't want any accidents so fair play. If he'd been on the pace from lap 1 I think LH would have had him... still theres always next time Gaz. AndyT
38 points each. If big Ron doesn't give him free reign he deserves to be castrated.

Gazboy
Just had a thought... Thinking of heading up to Silverstone for the F1 in July... camp over for three days... I believe tickets are £99 for the 3 days... Anybody interested/done this before? Yes- waste of money, you cannot see a bloody thing and the circuit commentary is awful, it really is like sitting 100 yards from motorway for 2 hours. If you go, go for one day and stump up the extra to sit in the grandstand at Woodcote. I sat at Maggots/Becketts which as the next best view and felt liek I should have set fire to the £250 instead. neil tt
lucky git! how'd ya score that?? It does come in handy when your best friend works for Mclaren, I keep waiting for him to take over Ron's job then I will be going everywhere:d

Whitesupraboy2
its not for the blocking move its because ron dennis said they made a team decision. So hamiltons race moves were legal if they were not team organsied.
