Dials will be picked up today and then sent to my house for polishing and background preparing. Once I will have them, inspect them and polish them I will start gathering payments and sending them out :)

Could these be made with any colour background..? Just a matter of changing the Gel Sheet..?

Yes, it is just matter of changing gel sheet. Problem was I just have blue and red one atm :p If you want another colour, I could send dials and light diffuser only, so you can glue any transparent, colour gel film you wish.

are these a hard job to fit ? i.e having to remove needles etc

Piece of cake. I was scared first time too, but if you use 2 small spoons, needle going out with little crack (nothing damaged). I put speedo needle when cruising on motorway by myself, looking at satnav - also pretty easy job, now my speedo is just 2km/h inaccurate :) Other then that - you just take off dash - 6 screws in odo part, 4 screws in dials parts, 3 connectors on back of speedo to disconnect. Taking off old dials, put stainless one in - perfect fit, put needles back, put it into car without transparent cover to set speedo with sat nav and then all together properly. It is 40 min job for me without setting speedo with satnav. 3 hours maximum for you, if you never done it. In my first post I gave all links to how-to take dash and needles off :)

If someone is really scared to take it off, I belive there is a lot of members around who can help with it. If someone is living close to Wolves and want this fitted, gimme PM and we can sort out something :)

Hi, will these fit an n/a thanks

Yes, dials are exactly the same for NA and TT :) It is pre-facelift style tho, so if your Supra is from between 1993-1996, you will be fine :) Pictures you see at first post are dials fitted in my manual NA :)

Thanks for adding me to the list.

Am I right in thinking that these will work ok with a blue lighting kit fitted?

I am right in assuming this arn't I?

When you putting yourself on list, please do not forget to mention, if you have manual or auto box and if it is possible - mention if you have blue led conversion made in your car, so then I can use lighter blue gel background.

Oh, having read back through the thread I noticed the above.

In that case:

18. Flynn --Blue background/red rev limit (auto) -- blue led conversion fitted to car already

Yes, in first post I included pictures of my car with blue led conversion :p

Which picture is that?

My current dials are very very dim, I don't think much light is getting through the current standard dials.

Also, I'm going to need to convert my dials from (a rather unrealistic) 320mph to 180mph. Any ideas how to do this?

Last two pictures are with blue led conversion. I think you have 340 km/h not mph :) Thor delimiter is converting standart 180km/h to 180 mph, I think that to convert your car to 340 kmh (mph?) you had to use different delimiter. Worth to check. If your lights are very dim, I suspect, that:

1) light dimmer is in "minimum light" position

2) resistors on led's are too strong.

My car reads in mph but the dial goes all the way up to 320mph. I have a little "mph" sticker over the bit on the dial where it used to say "kph".

I have a Thor delimiter fitted which I want to keep. I'm sure it'll just be a wiring issue to get the speedo reading the right thing. It'll look into it.

The light dimmer doesn't affect the brightness of the dials. (It does affect the odometer though). It wouldn't surprise me that the wrong resistors had been fitted though (any ideas what the right one's should be?). The previous owner was a total billy-the-bodger. (Scotchloks, mains wiring, wires twisted together and taped ... oh the list goes on ...)

Regardless of all this, I still want my name down for a set of these dials which best suit my car.
