Lubricating a modded car, some good advice!

Oh. sorry forgot to mention this:

If your owner's manual calls for an SG rated oil, and you can’t find any oils that list the SG Rating, don’t worry.

All API ratings are backward compatible. Therefore, an SL rated oil will be just fine for an SH, SG or SF rated vehicle. However, on a newer vehicle that calls for an SL rated oil, it is not recommended that you use an oil that does not indicate that it meets the SL standard.

Just to let you all know here that we've been busy in our persuit of supplying the best ranges of oils.

From 1st November we will be also selling the MOTUL range of oils including the double ester 300V.

This makes the range:

Silkolene, Motul, Fuchs, Mobil, Castrol and Total.

A huge choice at great prices.

Our website is currently being updated with the tech data for Motul products and will be ready sometime next week.

New price lists will be available here towards the end of next week so drop us a line: [email protected].

10 litres £61.69 incl vat and carriage.

20 litres £108.49 incl vat and carriage

6000 miles between changes but if it still looks good as new, is not gritty between the fingers or smells burnt, leave it in.

Cheers

Simon

Are people following the 6k between changes or sticking with the old rules ?
