CJ Posted May 25, 2007 Share Posted May 25, 2007 I have an XDA2 phone that doubles up as Tom Tom etc. It has pocket PC installed and currently has a load of my contacts on there after linking it with my PC at home. I want to give this away to a friend of mine but want to be able to clear the contacts before he gets it. Is there a quick way of doing this? I should have the phone turned on and then press the stylus into the little hole whilst holding down the power button. Also, will that affect the Tom Tom installation? Jake Posted May 25, 2007 Share Posted May 25, 2007 You can delete a screen full of contacts at a time by dragging the stylus over all the visible contacts to select a bunch of them then single tap and select Delete Contact. The v5 install I'm using works differently then it seems, I reset mine last week and sold it on, left TomTom on the SD card, popped it in again and watched it reinstall to the device while retaining the old info on the card.
