Eve
Anyone got a strong opinion on a noticeable difference when using the higher octane fuels? Tried it in my Celica and made no difference but she is only a baby 1.8 with 'no go'! Thanks E

hoff
V - power is the one most people like to use. I put it my NA.
Bobbeh
You'll notice a bigger difference on a turbo charged car for sure. Deffo worth spending the extra if you want the performance imho
hoff
Yeh its that that noticable in an NA but still worth it.

Pixelfill
Higher Octane is definitely safer in a TT especially when giving it WOT, and definitely if you are running BPU. Enjoy your drive home today Mike

Al Massey
i did a comparison test a while back and found that the bp ultimate was reat for power but i didnt get that extra mileage they claim and tescos 99 was ok but i cant find a tescos that sell it near me so i use vpower and its good stuff
AndyT
Have to use BP Ultimate here. Shell garage is miles out the way. Mate has a civic type R and when he first bought it, it was horrible to drive, pinking and asthmatic. I pointed him in the direction of V Power and he hasn't stopped smiling. turbonut
I've only ever used VPower in my NA but if it does the things it claims it keeps your engine clean too etc... I had a 1.5 yaris (ok, no jokes ) and it ran smoother, quieter and was that much more responsive when tapping the gas pedal I think its worth putting in 'the best' available fuel in my wee beastie anyway, as it gets the best of everything L
