Review:- Pirates of the Caribbean

Went to see Pirates of the Caribbean tonight and it was brilliant, I did not know what to expect with it as they lost the way a bit the the second one but they made up with it with Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

I would even go to say it was better than the first one, bold statement but I loved it.

Keith Richards was erm.................rubbish, only bad bit of the movie tbh.

I fell asleep towards the end. I thought it sucked compared to the other 2. Too much 'Disney' Comedy for my liking and whats with the marriage scene?

It dragged on for an hour too long with information no-one needed to know and the only good thing was Chow Yung Fat who did a good job as being the Singaporian Pirate Captain.

And when he'd just finished shagging her on the beach and he was kissing her leg i thought F*** me this is a Kids Disney Film wtf. Lol

Overall 6/10

So you fell asleep at the end at the noisiest part of the movie, but you saw the whole ending? lol

Disney don't just make Bambi mate, plus it does have a 12A rating which in todays standards can contain the word fuck so why not a kiss of a leg? wow big deal!! there was no shagging scene guys am afraid neither. :(

Best to go and see it as ever so slight over exaggeration has been posted lol.

Is it better than number 2??? After watching the 2nd my expectations are low tbh. :(

Imo I loved the first one and liek you I thought the second was good but weak, for me I loved the third and I think it is probably better than the first. Depp is brilliant playing Sparrow and is even camper than the first.

I went last night...

Not as good as the first but better than the second, was too long though.

Some very funny laugh out loud bits though and Jonny was to die for as usual!

Potential for a forth; Will and Elizabeth and little pirate babies??

According to Tookey in Fridays Mail...

"sinking to the depths"

"at least the Cutty Sark is probably salvageable"

"the most depressing, expensive maritime disaster since the sinking of the Lusitania"

"it goes down with all hands"

Cant wait to see it, I like pirates.

I went to see it yesterday, vast in length but disjointed, even sureal in parts and never really jelled with a storyline. Johnny D was ace :D the visual effects excellent. light hearted and entertaining but not earth shattering. Definitely needs seeing on the big screen as on your lil TV you'd be asleep or off making tea after 1/2 hour!! ;)

It was OK. First best by far. The humour was too childish, yet the action I felt too adult for kids. The story was all over the place with me being totally confused for the first quarter as to what was going on.

Did you stay and watch until after the credits and see the 'bonus' scene?
