ivan
No they killed all the Dharma people in a gas attack. All except Ben...
Pete
Remind me? There's the arrow in the neck one but didn't that bring Naomi rather than Penny after Des deviated from the premonition? Oh yeah,,,ermm...I'll think about it.
tbourner
lol have you watched recently Only seen up to ep18, don't know what happens at the end yet. So what happens at the end?
Angarak
Still nothing more about the weird darkness - although I suspect voodoo magic after the episode where the walked over a ring of sand type stuff before getting to the hut. I thought that 'sand' around the hut was gunpowder?
Cable
and also why would it matter about the water coming in?? that place is huge and it would take ages to fill up, and Desmond just got diving gear Defo! As much as I dislike Charlie I'm totally annoyed at how he died pointlessly. He could of done more good getting out and telling everybody that Naomi and the boat wasn't anything to do with Penelope. The dead person is Locke in my opinion. If anyone else off the Island died I think that family/friends would have turned up to the funeral. Except for Sawyer of course who has no family but then Kate would have been upset.
Pete
I thought that 'sand' around the hut was gunpowder? Was it? I've not seen enough of the stuff to tell.

Pete
Im happy to be wrong, but thats the impression I got when I saw it. Now you've said it I think you maybe correct. It was dark and gun powdery. Probably from that ship..which raises another question - how the eff did that get there?

ivan
Hmm. Real (or imaginary?) rumours (or spoilers?) for the next season here: http://forums.go.com/abc/oceanic/thread?threadID=1705006
jaymdee
I was also pi**ed off at the way Charlie died: 1. Surely the door could have been shut from the outside 2. Just let the Looking Glass fill up and put the diving gear on and leave 3. Swim out of the broken porthole window - it looked huge Again - too many unanswered questions. I gave up watching this season as it started annoying me, but persevered, to be rewarded with more daft cliff-hangers. It seems the writers are good at thinking up strange storylines, but crap at actually doing anything with them and hope people forget (black smoke, pilot pulled out of window, polar bear etc)
Jake
Hmm. Real (or imaginary?) rumours (or spoilers?) for the next season here: http://forums.go.com/abc/oceanic/thread?threadID=1705006 Hmmm, I started reading that but halfway through I realised that I don't care anymore. They're dragging it out waay too long IMO.

It took me about two sentences to realise the same thing.
Pot
Blimey, never watched Lost, personally I'm waiting for S3 of Prison Break, but is this a case of I need to source Lost from S1E1?...
Scoboblio
I think there's obviously a lot more to it than the phone call got them all rescued..... I think it's Sawyer in the coffin because he broke the rules of the island.... he shot the 'other' guy even though he surrendered. Hence why Jack thought that Kate would've gone to the funeral. But then again that coffin did seem very small. I'm sorry to say I thought it was a 'flash forward' right from the start. No idea why, just immediately thought 'bugger me they've been rescued'. And personally I think that only children when trained from a young age can see 'Jacob' (who respresents the will of the island), hence why Ben can, and the others' desperate attempts to kidnap / breed as many children as possible. Oh and there just has to be another mass population somewhere..... to explain Ben's sentence to Julliete 'every woman on the island needs you'. Can't wait for season 4. Jive
I was also pi**ed off at the way Charlie died: 1. Surely the door could have been shut from the outside 2. Just let the Looking Glass fill up and put the diving gear on and leave 3. Swim out of the broken porthole window - it looked huge Was thinking exactly the same although my mate did think that Charlie shut the door to stop Desmond from talking to Penny, which kinda makes sense. Once the porthole broke and the water rose to a suitable level, surely there would have been an air pocket and Charlie could have taken a big breath and then swam outta the porthole, like you said it was massive. Now that's finished, I can start watching Prison Break Season 1 and find out what all the fuss is about
Angarak
I dont think Charlie is dead, I think they want you to think he is dead. As mentioned, there would be a good air pocket in room charlie was in, and he could easily swim out the port hole.
Jive
Although the image of him floating towards the porthole does suggest that he's a goner. Probably easier to go up to the surface than it is to go down so I suppose he could be alive. Grrr .. so many questions
penguin
he is a goner - he blessed himself in the water and you could clearly see it ... he was a little annoying
