lucasl
Fitted the front bumper and started on the front wings, which seem to be the trickiest parts to fit. Im gonna need to make something for the wings to sit on so they sit higher to match the bonnet. http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/3508/photo0406qk6.jpg http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/6822/photo0405on0.jpg Had to make some headlight brackets because they usually attach to the wing but the new wing dont have the bracket. http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/5076/photo0403ug4.jpg http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/5972/photo0408th1.jpg http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/807/henrydc6.jpg

rik
Spend 2-4k on a kit, bodge it on yerself!!!! No get the pro's on the job. Too good a kit to F*** up mate. Yee of no faith at all. Where's the sense of achievement in that, half the fun of owning and modding cars like this is in getting involved and doing things yourself. Yeah, maybe you'll make mistakes along the way, but you'll learn a hell of a lot too. What do you think the Hot-Rodders did in the 50/60's when they wanted to change something? Probably kicked the cattle out of the barn for a few days and broke out the hammer and chisel

lucasl
so another update, I have realised how much of a pain the front wings are to fit, ive spent all day getting them to line up with the bonnet, still not totally satisfied. should have it fully fitted tomorrow then ive got to take it all off again to take to the bodyshop to be sprayed. http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/4751/photo0412lg4.jpg http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/3213/photo0413co4.jpg http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/1664/photo0414iy7.jpg

I put the old wheels on to run it up the road to the bodyshop to get a quote for paint. hiten55
Comming along nicely mate. what colour are you going for? is that tow ring not slightly on the illegal side? i was under the impression that you arent allowed anything to stick out past to bumpers due to pedestrian safety?
