mplavery
Went to Thorpepark yest and it was a GREAT day out. Have not been to one of these for years and it was my missis b/day so we decided to go. The Stealth ride was the best, 0 to 80 in about two seconds from stand still !!!!!! sh*t my pants...lol. also went on loggers leap again, was like lying in a bath with my clothes on when i got out....I did not mind though as it was roasting. Was good time to go aswell as all the kids were off school. The only thing i was not happy about was prices...£30 each lucky we had buy 1 get one free ticket..bottled coke was about £1.60, bar of choc was 0.70p sandwich was £3.70 !!!! rip off but these is a bk and kfc so noy all is lost. Snooze
Yeah - they've done real wonders with Thorpe Park over the last 5 years. If you can get there (like you did) on a weekday during school term time the queues are pretty short too. I remember first time on Stealth - we just got to the top of the waiting platform, and there was a fence (or something) that blocks your view down the track, so you can't see the coaster after it's gone. So I was looking down at the train in front of me ready to launch and just remember it being there, being there, being there. Then just vanishing. I didn't see it actually pull away - it literally disappeared! The Slammer is downright scary - I love my theme parks, but that's one of the first rides I've looked at and thought, "do I REALLY want to go on that?". Colossus is still my fave there tho - 10 inversions in one rollercoaster! Colossus Review
Charlotte
I like Thorpe Park. Haven't been since I was about 10 though so it's probably a lot better now.

Definitely worth another visit if you like that sort of thing, Charlotte. Thorpe Park has had loads invested in it and changed massively in the last 5 or 6 years. I'd say it's now as good as Alton Towers if you like thrill rides.
edd_t
Stealth is wicked! I went there last year. must have gone on it about 3 times. Tidal Wave is good too if you dont mind being soaked. Colossus also brilliant Much prefer the Alton Towers Nemesis though.

neil tt
I will be taking our three kids to Thorpe park next month, really looking forward to it. I get the job of looking after the 5 year old (getting a bit of a woss), and I can just watch the older ones:d
