Charlotte
Although you can't make an accusation like 'oddball' and not back it up with another story about his strange craziness.
mathew
you asked for it charlotte! he is now having an argument with my brother about an ink cartridge in the printer. the computer says its empty but, according to the oddball, if you pull out the cartridge, wipe it with a kitchen towel and put it back in it will work again. he is now out the kitchen wiping the cartridge:rolleyes:
Charlotte
He's right! I'm an oddball.
juanchan
I've done that before now It seems to work for a while longer than the computer would normally allow. You get slightly streaky printing, so as long as it's nothing too important, should be fine. you asked for it charlotte! he is now having an argument with my brother about an ink cartridge in the printer. the computer says its empty but, according to the oddball, if you pull out the cartridge, wipe it with a kitchen towel and put it back in it will work again. he is now out the kitchen wiping the cartridge:rolleyes:

Guigsy
depends on the printer cartridge. some have little chips like the one on your credit card and once that trips and it thinks its emty... it aint gonna work. thats how our toner cartidges work on our copiers at work. Greenauto
Haha, he just sounds like your typical olde bloke to me. My dad is exactly the same. Let me guess when Who Wants to be a Millionaire comes on does he tell you the answers in an 'its definately A and thats that' kind of way, even though he doesn't actually know the answer? Recently becoming a fiasco driver myself (in addition to the Supra) I hope if I do ever hit anythin in it it'll be your dad. There's no way he should be payin for the repairs. turbonut
ah, bless Sounds old skool - care, consideration and good manners, not to mention respect > its that generation. Did you mean paying only for the damage to his BMW or also the fiesta? If its just the beemer, thats understandable, if its the Fiesta too....oh dear!! colsoop
I don't think he is an oddball, he must be fairly well off to cover his own repair bill. I think if i was rich and somebody was genuinely sorry after causing a minor accident i would say don't worry about it.

OMG that's my dad!! He definitely would not pay for anything if there was the slightest chance he could possibly wriggle out of it though.
