Inferno
just wondering if there are any other skydivers on the boards.. I'm not a skydiver - I have only been once... however it was probably the best thing I have ever done. The thing that totally blew me away was the fact that you don't feel like you are falling... you feel like you are floating in a pool (because the wind is pushing up on you so strongly). You know when you go on a roller coaster and get that feeling in your stomach? (The same feeling when you have those falling dreams) - you don't get that feeling! Also your brain doesn't seem to function very well as everything looks so small and it feels like you are watching it all on a big tv screen. Fargo
@inferno, yup you totally get a distorted view of the speed, personally i like to jump when there are clouds in the sky as you get a better reference for the speed and direction you going, however i dont advice doing this in sept/nov time as your face gets stung by little bits of ice. SupraAyf
just wondering if there are any other skydivers on the boards.. So what's your jump record so far mucka;)
Fargo
only 32 jumps, only 1 jumping with another person. (all from 2.2miles) jumping with another person though i must say is a lot better,. you just hold on to a leg or arm (or both lol) and just fall out the door and watch the plane get smaller and the ground get bigger.
