Barry
Induction kits are pointless, you'll loose more bottom end than you will gain top end. To be honest, you'll probably not see any gains at all. The other mods will give you noticable power gains!

Which rolling road was it mate? Seems rather a high figure for those mods.

Nick
Like Barry says, all an induction kit will do is make a nice noise. Got a HKS SUV (VVT-i TT) going for 80quid if you want one:) You'll need a restrictor ring or a boost controller to keep the boost under 1.2bar with both cats out and water injection and or an uprated SMIC/FMIC too to be safe. Standard fuel pump is fine providing it's in good working order, change it if you're unsure, again to be safe.

Nick
You can't expect me to tell people that, I'm trying to sell the thing You really notice the difference in the heat though. My car has never liked hot weather, it's always felt sluggish and hesitant, especially when driving in traffic where you're stationary for a period of time. The std airbox has really improved things and there's certainly no noticeable drop in power. The aftermarket intake really is only good for the noise IMO. Steve
So am i right in saying then that if i had a full decat, upgraded fuel pump, upgraded spark plugs, FMIC i could just use a boost controller to keep the boost at 1.2 bar. Or would i need a restrictor ring. All this fitted to a Jap TT:p
Jake
A boost controller can only raise boost, not lower it.

It may well do this. It's VERY unlikely NOT to make about 1.2 bar, so you will NOT need a boost controller, as Jake says, these can only raise the boost above the uncontrolled level.
