Guest Nicholas
They're illegal but any plate shop should be able to knock you one up

Mas
why not just get a small plate as its ligal and save yourself a £30 fine Read this : http://www.craigsplates.co.uk/import-number-plates.html

Im sure the stick on ones are not legal any more since last year I think. you better off getting a small one but a legal one like mine and stick it with double sided tapes to your bumper. I ve been pulled/fined for a small illegal plate in the past (which can be a pain if they dont like you, they can give you a Q number plate in stead ) but dont think you would have problems with the ones I sent the link above, as they are aproved by DVLA or who ever manages the system
edd_t
dont bother dude. ive got one, and apart from it being illegal, it now looks crap! because of the curve of the front bumper its pretty hard to get it to sit nice and flat. and now, if i try and take it off, its gonna pull the paint off. cant wait to get my new bumper on so i can get a new plate. SMiFFAD
Ive had 30x10 cm plates on my last three cars, dont know wether its coincidence but two were infact imports and never caused me any grief, my sx however had a very snotty officer of the law having a pop at me about it. let me off with a stern "i know where you live, get it changed! though I think as long as your back plate is properly legal, they are a little more forgiving. my current front one is "nearly" legal from an import point of view, further helped by it fitted exactly on the plate mount Fancy plates is a good place to get them done. flukey-lukey
I have a stick on plate on the front and the number plate dude told me they were legal otherwise he wouldn't be making them. I used to have a 'bike size' plate on the front, but got pulled for it
SMiFFAD
youd be amazed what you can get away with. i drove out of castle combe on saturday with my SMIFFAD number plate on, straight past a police man with a speed camera in his hand! Didnt bat an eye lid
Jake
Has anyone been pulled or fined for having a small plate on the front bumper? Im not to fussed about size just want a stick on one. I've been pulled twice ON THE SAME DAY for having an undersized number plate. (not on a Supra though) Stick on plates are definitely illegal. CJ
Stick on plates are definitely illegal. I had a full size stick on set of letters on the orange car but as they were positioned flat on the do-luck front, they were considered illegal by one of the plod that stopped me.
