Paul -C-
Was watching the JGTC today and the commentator said one of the supras had a V8 4.5 litre. Do all the supras have that engine, or are they all different?
michael
Some might still be running the 3S-GTE but I think most have gone to the V8 now. They can use any engine from the Toyota stable apparently, I'm not sure if it has to be from the current range though.
Bobbeh
I think that engine is in the Tundra and future Lexus models.
AJI
I've been following the JGTC all this year and yes all the GT500 Supra's are running a 4.5 V8 engine from toyota's model range. A couple of years ago they were all running a tuned MR2 turbo enginie giving 500bhp. But the V8's have much more torque in their rev range over the turbo engine they used to run. Supraguy
Rumor from the US Supra site from a TRD Rep gave notion the MKV will be equipped with a Turbo Tundra V8 engine.

Bobbeh
I think he meant it sounds like fun, not that he was questioning you.. maybe I still wont believe it until I see it, I've heard so much bullshit from people in business over my short career span I've learnt not to listen anymore.
