michael
Lots of impressive cars in the background too, their cars for sale page has some nice stuff on it. I would imagine it cost rather a lot to restore but the end results make it seem worthwhile.
Henk
Amazing transformation! The one that blew me away was the behind the dashboard shot before and after.
michael
Amazing transformation! The one that blew me away was the behind the dashboard shot before and after. I liked that one too, a lot of the comparison shots are from different angles but with that one it really highlights the difference.

michael
I think the engine is a 4T-GTE - can anyone confirm this?
rik
Thats amazing. So many hours do do that. I've done a bit of restoration work in the past, but nothing on that scale. Some seriously skilled people there too
Chris Wilson
Fantastic work. Worth looking carefully to see how TTE did a proper single install, note the flexi couplings in the wastegate pipe, routed back into the main system well away from the turbo exducer, and the support bracketry for turbo and wastegate, to take the weight off the manifold piping. All the manifold to cylinder head flanges are gusseted, too. Superb transformation, but I bet they won't now be blatting it through a gravel or forest stage
Bobbeh
That was stunning! and deserves to sit in a museum! Thanks for posting this up Michael.. its made my day!
Pete
That's amazing. Also incredible when looking at the before and after pics just how similar it is to before rather than altering stuff.
Bob
I think the engine is a 4T-GTE - can anyone confirm this? I think you're right - http://www.geocities.com/enanosiniestro/4TGTE.jpg
Mike M
I remember that shape of Toyota as a kid but never knew it was a Celica. Amazing restoration, very inspirational.
Ark
That is just awesome. I can't believe the attention to detail there - they even replicated the original warning labels for the fire extinguishers!

garetheves
Oh my god, That is one of the best restorations I have seen, is there any way to get there pictures on the computer? Someone with more computer knowledge probably has a better way but the only way i can think of would be to take a screen dump of the screen and then edit it to keep only the actual picture. Im sure there is a program out there though that can search a website and automatically download all the pictures from it. Wouldnt know what to start searching for for it though. edge
WOW. Omg that is serious automotive porn. Some of the pics are not in order and i thought they just put a brand new engine in. But no that was restored too

Jive
Reminded me of "A Car Is Born" but on a much cooler and grander scale, fantastic to see old heaps restored to their former glory. The dashboard was incredible and also the engine, I too thought they'd just chucked another new engine in until I realised it had been restored, incredible

I was thinking that, Its really a shame that they have to make it so you cant save the pictures, they did some really innovating work on that car, I mean I absolutely love how the dry sump tank was setup on it. Pure engineering!
