michael Posted May 17, 2007 Share Posted May 17, 2007 At the moment I have 2 phones, one has a default "as shipped" ringtone which is Moby "In My Heart" and the other has a classic old school bell ring from those dial-fronted phones that were popular in the 80's. It's people with elitist tendencies choosing obscure Star Wars SFX, old TV show theme tunes or some musical shite that sounds godawful on the radio and even worse from a phone. Only reason I chose a normal tone is it's the highest pitch I could find to wake me up if needed. Most of these sampled tones are just too quiet and don't hit that required frequency pitch.
