R3DG3CKO ROB
Split up with my girlfriend last night We'd been together for 2 years... I know it's not that long but it was my longest relationship yet... Dan was a lot younger than me and turns out that she's just not ready for a serious relationship, I'd always had reservations because of her age but whenever I brought it up she always insisted that it didn't matter and that we could make it work... Turns out that I was right all along and she just wasn't ready - No arguments, shouting and nothing we can really do to make it work, so she moved out today Really sucks as I love her to bits - I'll spring back i'm sure but just thought I'd share my guttedness

jamesmark
Mate I was with my ex for 2 years and the word crushed is an understatement? I was put on anti D's so I know how you feel, I worshipped the ground she walked on.
juanchan
Sorry to hear that mate. Keep your chin up and I'm sure you'll get through. You say 2 years "isn't a long time", but it still hurts. I found keeping myself busy helped.
R3DG3CKO ROB
cheers guys... the flat feels really empty now I'll be fine.. I'm constructing a list of positives to keep me sane; 1: no more complaining about my driving and the car 2: no more watching cr*p TV 3: I can use the money I was saving for her B'day to buy my self a PS3 that's it for now... keeping my chin up - think I've got a few painful days coming though... DrivingTheDream
Thats a canny comprehensive list mate! Enjoy while you can and dont (like so many do) jump into the next possible r'ship! Blah Blah-theres plenty more fish etc-Its a load of sh**e but very true you'll find someone better and more worthy mate. Usually ppl (normal ppl) go through life with a few "permanent" partners, this will be far and away the worst experience of breaking up. Just be thankful your not the bloke from "Virgin School" last night lol!!! One major positive is you own a supra Take Daman's advice... Havard
Sorry to hear this mate, but there are loads of girls out there and I have found that people think about what they don't have compared to what they might find. Get out on the town and find a girl who is out of your league............walk up to her and say "Nice legs, what time do they open??" Get your face slapped and you'll wonder what you were getting upset about!! H.
