tooquicktostop
does it include the pipework as well? JB Not sure how much pipe work is coming off to fit the new intercooler, a quick call to TF will be the best idea, I wanted to wait until Greg had pressure tested it before I call again
Branners
okay, let me know about the pipework as it would be going on a single turbo car so should be a straight bolt on....

Andyhannah
Its a bit big i would say mate, probably would be best with a greddy 2 row or something like that in my opinion.
Glosphil
Yeah, ordered a greddy 2 row off Jap-Express on ebay, he took my money after confirming stock then said he didnt have one, I said I'd leave negative feedback so he said he's keeping my money. Needless to say an argument or two later, and some legal warnings and he's paid up,, but I have no FMIC and I need one

tooquicktostop
Ok so just spoke to Greg at TF and they have pressure tested the intercooler and it holds pressure fine until 40psi then there is a slight leak, the intercooler comes with very little pipework as the 4 row is using most of the original gear, so best offer today takes it
tooquicktostop
Ok have this at home now and heres some quick pictures for you, I would need this picking up or could meet someone 1/2 way if required

tooquicktostop
Im tempted but the leak at 40psi puts me off. Do they know where the leak is and why? JB The leak is at the crease in the photo's and was only showing at 40psi which I doubt anyone will even run I just want to be completly open about the item and had asked Greg to pressure test it, he telss me it is perfectly acceptable to use and run, any I dont expect £300 for it now, make me an offer
tooquicktostop
Where in Essex are you mate, and what is 40psi in Bar? Could a small leak, turn into a big leak? I am near the Dartford crossing, 40psi is not a pressure your car would every run as I said above just want to be open about this item, by all means call Greg to confirm all is good with this intercooler
Branners
folks, this is back up for sale again as I have gone with a CW SMIC instead. as per the original thread it may or may not have a leak. When I collected it from Turbofit they said that it had been tested to 80psi with no leak, but Im selling it on the basis that it may well have a leak at 40psi. It is in a used condition and has some damaged fins. I bought it for £200 so Im looking to get back my £200 for it. Fixing the leak should be simple enough. Its a HKS TypeR IC with no hard pipes, just the intercooler. PM me if interested. Would need to be collected from Watford/South Mimms. JB
