Soonto_HAS_soop
Does anyone know if the Brembo 335mm 4 pot fronts will fit behind a set of the 18" Lexus Rims?? If no one knows for sure, does anyone know what offset is required for the Brembos to fit, and then if anyone knows the Lexus Rims offset etc (Jake you may be the best to answer that one)? I can work it out. Someone must know at least some of this info. Cheers Guys. Ben..
Nick
You really need to get a rim and try it over the brake kit, or at least get a rim and try the template inside to be sure. There's not just the offset to consider, but also spoke design and the internal diameter. You should be ok on the internal diameter with 18" wheels providing they're not 3-peice, otherwise you need to be very careful.
Soonto_HAS_soop
Thanks Nick, do you have a copy of the template, or know where I can get one from? Ben..
Nick
I've got a template for the 14" Brembo kit at home which I'm going to fax to Loks this weekend/Monday. If I can get the scanner working then I'll mail it tomorrow night. If you PM me your fax number and Email I'll send you a copy too.
Jake
Hi Ben I believe the GS300 Sport rims are the same offset as std Supra rims. As Nick says, the only way to know for sure is to try the template. Not much help, I know.
SimonB
They're actually 40 offset (as opposed to 50 for the standard wheels). That's to compensate for the extra width.
