Ian W
Am considering one of these as a weekend car once i'm sorted for a job again as they seem so cheap and a lot of fun. How much is insurance on one of these things? I've been told it's actually pretty cheap due to you being able to go to 'kit car' specific insurers? DannyW
VERY cheap. ive never insured a car in my own name before due to being on parents policies, but this was £288 for me with 0 ncb, i'm 25. If you have another car to use with full ncb on, then this could be insured for well under £200.

Kranz
Lovely car mate. Got one myself (SEight) that will be up for sale soon For those asking about insurance, Footman James was the best quote for me. £180 fully comp with 2 years NCB on a 3000 mile policy.... and that's for a 3.5 V8! Good luck with the sale.

Pete
No longer for sale due to engine failure Oh no! Would you consider selling without an engine? I've always fancied an S2000 powered Westie. Not sure how the chassis setup altered between the years from yours (if much at all?)

Not sure how the chassis setup altered between the years from yours (if much at all?) I would Pete but i can get an engine for £75 delivered so i would be mad to drop the price loads just to shift it, i may as well stick another lump in, at least then it gives me a chance to clean the bay and paint the new engine before it goes in to make it that little bit more sell-able. Kranz
What's the weight of the car ? Not light.... about 850kg including myself, so 760kg kerb weight. Good luck with the new engine Danny
Clarkey
Good luck with the car bud. I'll be going kit car in the near future. Light is right imo! 500-520 kerb weight. Raw striker with a 4AGE engine or even a Busa lump and box in it.
