Scary gulf war???? Try scary nuclear Cold war throughout the 80's. Oh yeah, put three doors up against your living room wall and line them with the cushions from your sofa. I may have only been 11 but even I knew that wasn't going to help against 100 megaton H-bombs.

Bloody hell that is a big watch!

 

Two kids in my class at secondary school had Casio calculator watches, and one of them had a game on it. I think he spent more time playing the game than ever doing any work!

Yeah but... I was born 82 so bit to small to be scared by nukes it was never gonna happen anyway no one was gonna start a war of mutually assured destruction that was the whole point. That's why terrorism is a lot more scary if they get a nuke they won't hesitate to use it because they don't care what happens to them where as Russia and America cared a lot about not being wiped out themselves.....
