Thorin
that Alice Cooper? Don't remember Agadoo and Superman then?
michael
Very emo and "light" to listen to but if you just want some fairly easy stuff look at Paramore, just don't lust after the lead singer, she's very young. I'm currently on random play with Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, 30 Seconds to Mars and Huey Lewis and the News.
ben1985
For a good chilled out album, Nick Drake - A Treasury is really good (I think!) For something more upbeat / rocky I would recommend Wolfmother. Really good Australian band. Also, Youth Group have 2 albums out now, both excellent, the second a bit more mellow.
Ian W
Don't remember Agadoo and Superman then? Vividly...were they done by 'Black Lace'? Perhaps I subconciously tried to block them out Very emo and "light" to listen to but if you just want some fairly easy stuff look at Paramore, just don't lust after the lead singer, she's very young. I'm currently on random play with Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, 30 Seconds to Mars and Huey Lewis and the News. Cheers Michael, downloaded 30 Seconds to Mars a few weeks ago and loving them so will look into the others too.

juanchan
Anyone know of similar bands to Evanescence? There was a thread a few weeks ago that people listed bands similar to Evanescence on. I can't find it now, but if anyone can, a link would be appreciated. I suck with the search button by the way! I knew the title of one thread I was looking for recently, and it still took me about 20 minutes to find it...
heartworm
You could try Within Temptation. Although they were awful live, I do like The Heart of Everything. I've also got The Silent Force but not listened to that much. I thought Withing Tempation were pretty god the time Is aw them, at a festival though and maybe not in the best state of mind
